Mar Vista

Quiet streets, one perfect Sunday market, and a bowling alley holding the fort since 1961.

Two hats, one neighborhood. Nothing is stitched until enough Los Angeles neighbors want it — that is the whole model. Request this one →

Same hat, full volume. Vintage-ephemera composition — labels, stamps, arches — printed rather than stitched, so the palette goes past two inks.

MAR VISTA on a stamp, the market canopy pitched under one morning-gold sun (stamp/vintage).

Know your neighborhood

Mar Vista stretches between Venice and Culver City along Venice Boulevard, renamed in 1924 from Ocean Park Heights — sea view, which the flatlands mostly supply via imagination. Its center of gravity is Grand View, where the farmers market closes the street every Sunday. Down Venice sits the 1961 Mar Vista Bowl, a Googie landmark that survived a corporate rebrand.

Researched, resident-unconfirmed — icon confidence: medium. If you live here and this is wrong, say so and it changes before anything is stitched. A wrong insider detail is worse than none.
