Koreatown
The neighborhood that never turns the lights off, anchored by a teal 1931 tower that refuses demolition on principle.

Koreatown spreads across Wilshire between Western and the Miracle Mile edge, dense enough that the subway sits directly under the Wiltern. The Pellissier Building opened in 1931 clad in custom Pellissier Green terra cotta, saved from demolition in what became the LA Conservancy's first major advocacy victory. Locals shorten it to K-town and organize life around rooms that legally never close.
Researched, resident-unconfirmed — icon confidence: high. If you live here and this is wrong, say so and it changes before anything is stitched. A wrong insider detail is worse than none.
