A street of houses in a city that built upward. Six hundred and fifty of them went up in 2002, on thirty-two acres wrapped around four lakes, barrel-tile roofs and arched entryways throughout. The way in is over an arched bridge, past a gatehouse standing on its own island — which is why the bridge, and not the sign, is the thing on the hat.
