Glenn Curtiss laid out these curved streets back when flying was the whole point of the place, and he called it Country Club Estates before it was Miami Springs. He gave it a Pueblo Revival look on purpose, adobe curves in the subtropics. Planes still bank overhead all day. Underneath, the town keeps its Circle at the head of Curtiss Parkway, the oldest municipal golf course in South Florida, and its small-town pace.
