Lakes, low houses, the top of the county, tucked east of I-95 off Ives Dairy Road. Any freshwater edge down here holds a gator now and then, and these streets are all freshwater edge. Highland Oaks Park holds the jogging loop, the fishing dock, and one of the last freshwater wetlands at the head of the Oleta River. The first Hyperlocal hat ever stitched was this one.
